Writing(60 minutes)

Writing task of atleast 150 words where the candidate must summarize, describe or explain a table, graph, chart or any diagram(s)
Short essay task of atleast 250 words

Speaking(14 minutes)

Face-to-face interview

Reading(60 minutes)

Three reading passages Texts range from the descriptive and factual to the discursive and analytical includes diagrams, graph or illustrations
Texts are authentic (e.g.taken from books, journal or newspapers)

Listening(30 minutes)

IELTS General Training measures English language proficiency in a practical, everyday context. The tasks and texts reflect both workplace and social situations
This version of the test is also often a visa requirement if you are planning to migrate to English speaking countries including Canada, Australia, the UK and New Zealand

Reading(60 minutes)

Three reading passages

Section 1 two or three short factual texts
Section 2 two short work related, factual texts
Section 3 one longer text on a topic of general interest

Texts are authentic (e.g.taken from company handbooks, official documents, books and newspapers)

Speaking(11-14 minutes)

Face-to-face interview
Includes short questions, speaking at length about a familiar topic and a structured discussion

Listening(30 minutes)
